Hands up who went on holiday for a week, lazed around and ate a lot, then had good intentions of catching up with her running when she got back but then didn't... Just me? Ok, I admit it, I've been rubbish with my running recently, but I am determined to get back to my pre holiday fitness.
To be honest, running is not my strong point, but for exactly this reason I'm feeling the need to conquer it because it's a challenge. Since I started doing a bit of running 2 or 3 times a week, I've felt healthier, happier and have been able to fit into my old skinny jeans again (just about!).
So, I'm going to go for a run tonight and I'm saying it on here, because it means I'll be ashamed if I don't do it! It may rain on me, but I'm going to do it anyway.

ReplyDeleteI did it! Just 15 minutes, but at a good pace and I felt really good afterwards. Very tired today though. Planning to go for another one tomorrow evening and a bit further this time!
